Mark Shuttleworth revealed today in his blog the Ubuntu 11.10 codename, Oneiric Ocelot.
Ocelot, as shown above, is a leopard-like cat. "Oneiric" (witch comes from óneiro, the Greek word that means dream) means "dreamy" or more formally "Of or pertaining to dreams". Mark Shuttleworth sad:
This combination reminds of the way innovation happens: part daydream, part discipline.
For those like me, game fanatic, this name reminds Revolver Ocelot, a character from one of the best game franchises ever made:
